I’m Mike John Otto, a Hamburg and Berlin based Executive Creative Director, Founder, Brand Consultant, Creative Tech Lead & AI Artist. I am a designer, storyteller and artist – I work at the intersection of brands, culture, art and technology. I combine new forms of narrative experiences with new technologies to create brand-relevant innovations – with real impact for customers and businesses.
With more than 25 years of professional practice, I gained the experience and had the pleasure of building products, shaping brands and create narrative experiences for some of the boldest global clients. HOW
I work a lot with AI Tools and do AI Consultancy to advise clients on using AI not just for speed, but for real value — helping them unlock innovation & transformation and deliver meaningful, lasting results. The most valuable skill won’t be fast producing — it will be choosing what goes into production and the final result. Choosing the idea that matters. Choosing the detail that transforms.
There are a lot of discussions going on about defining a purpose, being user centric and taking responsibility for cultural change. All right and true. But the challenge is to align and touch all of them. With the triad of the brand’s purpose (i.e. „Why does my brand exist in the world“), what drives humans/audiences, and what’s culturally relevant, I use the „Passion Point“: a shared passion that works authentically between brand, society, technologies and people.
